Today I shared a story with everyone.
One fine day, when I was going to Puduraya bus station, I had a conversation with a taxi driver.
He asked me about my purpose of coming KL,
I said "for interview, in bank".
He said, "I also worked in bank before, but now i driving taxi."
I said, "why u quit the job?"
He said, "that job is not suitable to me lah, work so tired and the salary so low, somemore without chances for future development. Now I drive taxi, same as other people working in office, wake up 6am, go work 7am, go back 6pm, and I got lots of freedom."
I listening...
He said, "everyday fetch different people, hearing different stories, chit chat with different people, drive to different places, see different things, and can earned lots of money."
He said, "sometimes my friend asked me why I drive taxi? cukup makan kah? I said, now I everyday also happy, somemore can earned me around 3k a month, or even around 4 to 5k, I got 3 kids, all tuition fees, school fees, things spent on kids cost me around 1k, I still got around 2k for daily fees, and my wife earned 5k a month, what makes u think that what I doing now makes me tak cukup makan?"
the important thing,
He said, "now everyday feel so happy, got pressure, but I am my own boss, I enjoy my freedom, my time, my family, be happy everyday, enough la, why work so hard to unsatisfied urself?"
I nodded nodded...
"ya rite, working is to create more opportunities to make urself satisfied, if you don't feel happy and unsatisfied with both your working and private life, what gives you motivation to work so hard?"
So my friends, think twice before keep complain to everyone about your life, do something, and do it hard to change current situation, and of course, change yourself by changing your mind and thoughts. I learnt from mahjong king 2, "changed ur thoughts, and you will see different things; think about happy things when you met problems, and you will see that the problem isn't that hard to solve."
